Série de trois vitraux réalisés selon la technique traditionnelle (à base de plomb).

Le motif est inspiré d'une création de Mackintosh. Les verres utilisés sont de type opalines et striés afin de jouer sur le contraste des valeurs blanche, grises et noire afin de compenser la faible luminosité du puits de jour extérieur.

Le premier panneau a été réalisé par Béatrice Charlier et les deux derniers par mes soins.

Jedná se o soubor osmi vitráže oken, včetně pěti "trojlístek" tvar a tři gotické okne .

Prvním okně zadejte brusinky je již nainstalován.

paravent "Marlène d'autruche"

This screen for the "one-woman show" " yours Autruchement " is a composition of inspiration art nouveau according to a Mrs Ricque's original sketch. This actress wished an element of stage which can evolve according to lighting effects during her show.

I combined three techniques to emphasize both ostrichs as well as cartridges presenting the name of the central figure; “Marlène d'autruche”.

The "traditional" technique uses lead profiles of different sizes which structures the main composition.

The said technique "Tiffany" allows thanks to fine brass ribbons to qualify the lines of the drawing. It is in particular the case for the cartridges of text and the heads of the ostrichs.

Finally the "fusing"; technique which consists in transforming by the cooking of the pieces of glasses emphasizes certain elements of the stained glass, in particular the hypnotic eyes of the ostrichs.

Glasses were also chosen according to their quality of transparency. The textured glasses (glasses printed by the bottom) or still opalines glasses (feathers) given lustre (text) and streaked glasses (the body of the ostrichs) hang on the various lights on stage.

I would like especially thank my " three fairies "; Anne Dufétel, Chantal Hèches and Marie Jo Ruzickova for their help and them invaluable support throughout the prcessus of creation of this screen.

Prague : "the city of 100 towers" has a lot of "hidden" stained glass. If you want to find out about it and where it is, please follow the guide!

If you want to find out about it and where it is, please follow the guide! Join us as we tour Prague in search of stained glass treasures. We will also visit well-known sites such as St. Vitus cathedral, where you will be overwhelmed by the windows, but don't forget your binoculars!
